Slime Care 101

Keep It Squishy.
Keep It Fresh.

Keep your Scoop! slime squishy, stretchy, and satisfying for as long as possible with these tips 💜

🏠

How to Store It

Always snap that lid back on tight after playtime — air is slime's #1 enemy. Keep your jar somewhere cool and dry, away from direct sunlight or heaters. Think "comfy room temperature," not windowsill, not radiator, not glovebox.

How Long It Lasts

With good care, most Scoop! slimes stay poppy and fresh for 2–3 weeks of regular play. You'll know it's time to say goodbye if it starts smelling sour, won't stretch anymore, or you spot any fuzzy mold — toss it and treat yourself to a new scoop!

Quick Fixes

Too sticky? A pinch more activator (or a light dust of cornstarch) will firm it right up.

Too stiff? Warm it up between your palms, or work in a drop of lotion or water.

Lost its stretch? That usually means it's reaching the end of its slime lifespan — time for a refresh!

Slime No-Nos

Don't leave it in a hot car or direct sun — it'll melt into a puddle of sadness. Go light on adding tap water — too much invites mold. Keep different scents and colors in separate containers so they don't bleed into each other.

Texture-Specific Tips

Every slime's a little different — here's how to keep each type happy.

Butter Slime

Getting sticky? Just knead it for a minute. A tiny dab of lotion brings the smoothness right back.

Cloud & Floam Slime

Go easy on the squishing! Overworking it breaks down those dreamy foam beads.

Crunchy Cereal Slime

Handle with a gentle touch — the mix-ins can work themselves loose if you play too rough.

A Few Safety Notes

Scoop! slimes are for squishing, not snacking — please don't eat it! Little ones should always play with adult supervision. Wash hands after playtime, and keep slime away from fabric, carpet, and hair — it will find a way in.
